Boarding : Room Allocation

Both Rashleigh and Dalvenie Boarding Houses offer very comfortable, well-resourced and well-decorated rooms. The Houses are situated in the middle of the school campus and, whilst enjoying all facilities close at hand (dining room, astro pitch, tennis/netball courts, swimming pool, sports hall), they equally provide a 'home-from-home' at the end of the day.

Dalvenie and Rashleigh Houses are linked with the dining room in between.

Prep Boarders and those up to and including Year 10 live in the newly refurbished Dalvenie House. The House is very light, warm and of course friendly! There are normally four to a room and the girls use the newly refurbished bathrooms with showers opposite their rooms.  They have a sitting room - with widescreen television, Wii and Sky TV and masses of games - together with access to the laundry room (to drop their gear!), a small kitchenette and of course the super huge lounge with widescreen TV and pool table. The rooms either look out to the Games Fields and Astro Pitch or over Truro towards the Cathedral, City and rolling fields. There is monitored access to the internet available via the school's protection system.

Girls in Years 10-13 (Upper Sixth) live in Rashleigh House which was newly refurbished two years ago. The House is modern, welcoming and rooms enjoy views either over the Prep School field or over Truro towards the Cathedral and rolling fields. All the rooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers, washbasins and a loo. They also have dedicated workstations with monitored internet access through the school's protection system. There are two sitting rooms with widescreen televisions, Wii and Sky TV. There is also a huge laundry room, kitchen (with pannini maker, microwave, cooker etc) and access to the Houseparents' flat. Those up to and including Year 11 normally share a room with two or, at the most, three other girls i.e. 3 or 4 girls per room. Those in the Lower Sixth share a room with one other girl i.e. 2 girls per room whilst girls in the Upper Sixth have their own room with ensuite bathroom.
